Focus
“For us it’s about you.” We like to keep our focus clear and simple – a therapeutic relationship with you.
Relationship is about trust and process. That is why we use technology only as far as it serves our therapeutic relationship. In what may seem old school, we automate only where it is essential. Simply contact us.
Please don’t hesitate to talk to us about yourself. We work with ADHD, anxiety, ASD, couples counselling, depression, grief, general mental health development and support, individuation, transitions and trauma.
If you’re in danger, considering self harm or ending your life, please call 999 or your regional emergency service, as this online service is not suitable for emergencies.
Team
Our two experienced psychotherapists:
Coletta Canale
Coletta is a psychoanalytic psychotherapist who originates from Scotland and currently lives in Cape Town. As a practitioner for over 25 year, she is committed to working in a compassionate way with people to navigate aspects of life that can often be confusing or distressing. Coletta believes that through the experience of psychotherapy, we can learn to understand ourselves and our relationships better, in order to move towards a more fulfilling and satisfying life. Prior to her psychotherapy practice, Coletta worked as a social worker; her varied work experience, such as in a London hospital trauma unit, in a children’s home, as a school counsellor and running a shelter for homeless boys in Cape Town, equipped her with confidence to work with people from all walks of life. Apart from her Honours degree in Social Work, she holds a Tavistock Diploma in Communication with Children and Adolescents and trained as a couple psychotherapist in Edinburgh and Cape Town.
Herman Holtzhausen
Dr. Herman Holtzhausen is an experienced psychotherapist based in Stamford, Lincolnshire. With over 25 years of experience, he specialises in treating a range of presentations including anxiety, ADHD, ASD, depression, life changes, OCD, relationship challenges and trauma.
