Welcome to Safe Harbours out of hours therapy. This is a service that enables you to start therapy without an appointment – anytime, anywhere.

How, you may ask? The answer is straightforward: We email each other. Start the conversation with an email to us, even if it is out of hours, and we’ll respond as soon as possible in business hours.

Email conversations are effective and well regarded as a medium for therapy. In our experience, supported by peer reviewed research, it often outshines other forms of online therapy. Some even prefer it to face to face sessions. Read more here.

If you don’t know where to start, start by telling us what is on your mind.

Please include the following info in your intro if you’re a new client:

  1. Your Full names
  2. Preferred name
  3. Date of Birth
  4. Address and contact details
  5. Surgery name and contact details
  6. Next of kin contact details
  7. Accept or reject our T’s & C’s
  8. Are you 18 years or older
  9. Confirm that you’re not in danger, considering suicide, self-harm, or harm to others at the minute
  10. Name your preferred therapist, if any.

Duration and fees

A session is approx. 50 minutes of reading, reflecting and writing over 72-hours of engagement, Monday to Friday, at £90. We’ll send the invoice with our first response, which is also when the 72-hours start, and require full payment before our second response please.

We undertake to respond as soon as possible in business hours.

This service is not an emergency service.
